Billy
Our short film 'Billy' and three works by other directors are part of the Pause Originals collection of 2022 year with the theme, "Beyond 2050". Pause Originals is a digital platform dedicated to nurturing and showcasing the creative endeavours of emerging filmmakers for over a decade.
"Billy" was born out of our desire to explore a different angle in the world of robotics and storytelling. We wanted to step away from the typical post-apocalyptic robot narratives and instead introduce a lighter, more sarcastic story. You know, we're all a bit tired of the heavy stuff, and we thought it would be interesting to take a problem we care about, like waste recycling, and present it from a fresh perspective.
